These have been in our family for years. It started when my grandpa had one made for my brother 39 years ago. I have also purchased them for my 3 boys and all 7 of my nieces and nephews and I am expecting a girl in August and will be getting one for her also. I got the idea of these plates from a friend back in the 1970's when my kids were born. Over 20 years ago now. I have them on display. Periodically, I take them down, touch them and it brings back such good memories. I recently ordered one for my new daughter-in-law's sister. Now the tradition will continue. |
