It has a heart shape surface on the back ideal for engraving a birth date. The "You Grew In My Heart" Pendant measures a large 1" x 1" (roughly the size of a quarter in circumference). If you prefer a more delicate sized piece, we suggest the charm which is identical to the pendant, yet is 3/4" X 3/4" in size (slightly larger than a penny in circumference).
